After School Programs
Patrick Henry is proud to offer Beyond the Bell after school programs including LAUSD Youth Services and A World Fit for Kids. Programs are available Monday - Friday from the dismissal bell to 6:00 p.m. These programs are free. Included in these programs, students receive a free supper meal.
In the Youth Services program, students are engaged in athletic activities. Students select sports to participate in, practice during the after school program and then compete with other middle schools on Saturdays throughout the year if they meet the grade requirement. This program prepares our “young athletes” for intramural sports in high school.
In the World Fit for Kids Program, students are provided structured activities including homework club, tutoring, computers, and dance under the supervision of World Fit For Kids Staff. They also have a sports component with their program.
After School Academic Support with PHMS Teachers
Tuesdays in the Library 1:40 - 2:40 pm
Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Library 3:05 - 4:05 pm
Free hot supper meal is provided to all students that stay after school.
